WAITT FOUNDATION GIVES $100,000 TO SUPPORT BECKY'S HOUSE

La Jolla, CA, December 1, 2003– Waitt Family Foundation president, John Heubusch, presented San Diego radio station, Star 100.7, with a check for $100,000 to support Becky's House, a residential shelter for abused women, sponsored by the YWCA of San Diego. Also donated, on behalf of Ted Waitt, Gateway founder and CEO, a 42" Gateway plasma screen TV, which was auctioned off in an on-the-air radio auction for the December 4 Jingle Ball concert front row seats and gift package. The contributions are aimed to bring awareness to the Waitt Family Foundation's grantee, Family Violence Prevention Fund's campaign, Coaching Boys into Men.
