MEN TAKE STAND TO PREVENT VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN BRIEFING WITH SENATORS JOSEPH BIDEN (D-DE) and ORRIN HATCH (R-UT)

Washignton, DC, May 5, 2004– The Family Violence Prevention Fund, Senator Joseph Biden (D-DE), Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and men who are leaders in the legal, business, non-profit, and entertainment worlds spoke out to prevent violence and share their vision for a future when all men will stand and say "no more."

Discussions at the briefing included: new legislation that focuses on preventing violence before it begins by funding programs that help children who witness violence, provide support to families, fund public education campaigns that reach yound men and boys.
