Ocean Exploration, Conservation and Rejuvenation

The Waitt Family Foundation is looking for projects with real potential to make a positive and sustainable impact on our declining oceans stemming from humanity’s effect on marine life.  Our goal is to lead and inspire change that will foster development of innovative solutions.  We seek to partner and align ourselves with organizations dedicated to examining the most pressing issues facing the oceans at this critical moment in human and environmental history.  By raising global awareness through scientific research, education, media, and policy change we aim to reverse the current decline of ocean life and while inspiring humanity to make informed choices that contribute to the ocean ecosystem health.
                                        
To date, a majority of our work has been done in conjunction with our partner, the Waitt Institute for Discovery. Together we've launched some fascinating projects which you can read about here. We are now broadening our reach to include other partners with similar skills and interests.
