Community Building Grants

The Waitt Family Foundation is looking for programs with real potential to improve the lives of people in at-risk populations throughout the world. These programs, supported by the Waitt Helping Hands Fund, will encourage collaboration across various disciplines or related organizations in order to change the way people see themselves, others, and the opportunities before them. We are interested in programs that foster independence, self-help, and self-reliance. We want people to obtain the skills necessary to better themselves and their communities. Most importantly, we are looking for projects that create long-term change to help the greatest number of people.

We are currently accepting grant applications in this area.
